The NRA is 3.5M - 5.0M members strong. They turn $250M/yr from that
base (manufacturers too). They have little difference of opinion
in their ranks. They are good at crafting and pitching political
rhetoric, framing the conversation, and rendering complex issues
into simple forms that resonate with their entire base.
So to get freedom you need a group of few million human drones that
would listen to an enlightened leader. Smart.
Whatever your feelings are about banding together with others to reach a
political goal, grarpamp does present one success story that cannot be
denied. The firearms rights lobby is one of the few success stories of the
past 30 years in rolling back the power of the leviathan state.
Exactly. This isn't about agreeing / disagreeing with any group.
Only about what actually works for various, well organized groups to
effect political change.
It takes more than a tiny % of any population, doing more than writing
"pretty please" letters & wearing slogan Tee shirts.
