[public-dns-discuss] ctripcorp.com

Hi,
one of mobile device at my work place is looking up for resolving "m.ctrip.uat.qa.nt.ctripcorp.com" (constantly)
but we see it's not resolving and hammering google public DNS servers constantly.

error (unexpected RCODE SERVFAIL) resolving 'm.ctrip.uat.qa.nt.ctripcorp.com/A/IN': 8.8.8.8#53
error (unexpected RCODE SERVFAIL) resolving 'm.ctrip.uat.qa.nt.ctripcorp.com/A/IN': 8.8.4.4#53

When I looked NS for ctripcorp.com, I noticed the NS are ns1.ctripcorp.com and ns2.ctripcorp.com and also have glue record pointing to google public DNS records. See below.

dig @i.gtld-servers.net +norec ctripcorp.com NS

Is this correct glue records? To me it doesn't look correct - See below -

dig @8.8.4.4 NS2.CTRIPCORP.COM

Same results if I query against @8.8.4.4

What can be done about this issue?

Thanks,
UG
