Given that your AWS name servers do not support DNSSEC, I doubt that turning DNSSEC on will fix your problem.

Turning it on and then turning it off might fix the problem, though, depending on how they implement it.

Be careful that NameCheap support might change the NS records for your domain to point to the NameCheap name servers rather than the AWS name servers, so you might need to change those back.
